I always wanted tattoos for many years but its always ended up with me not being sure if Im going to like it long term. Get this product even if its just for costumes or parties, it creates realistic looking and long lasting tattoos in minutes and is incredibly fun and high quality in a very reasonably priced , small , gadget that I highly recommend to anyone of all ages!

This temporary tattoo printer is an awesome thing to bring custom fun into your kid's day !
The kit includes all the necessary to make a couple of tattoos without the need of buying extra stuff !
The printer itself is compact but it does the job and it is really easy to use , just take your time !
The application is easy to setup with the printer via Bluetooth in a matter of seconds
Then you got a ton of different patterns you can use in the database + you can print almost anything from the internet !
The printing quality is just right for a temporary tattoo .
The software is free for the basic needs , if you wish to get deeper you can pay but I don't feel the need to go that far in the app !
The included tattoo paper is very sticky , you won't have an problem putting your art on your skin but you will feel the sticky square for as long as you got your tattoo on !
The included markers are acrylic ones , they provide 8 different colors but you can take your own acrylic markers to get better results with much more different colors

Overall this is a very cool activity to do with the kids , they need supervision up to 12 years old I would say using this kit but we had a lot of fun with my daughter !

My Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.0 out of 5 Stars)
(Reasoning: This Phomemo kit is a blast for kids and birthdays, offering a unique way to turn app designs into wearable art. While the instructions are notoriously confusing and the multi-step process takes a few tries to master, the results are very satisfying. It’s more of a 'project' than a 'quick print,' but the customization makes it worth the effort.)

If you're looking for a birthday party "wow" factor, this is it. It’s far more engaging than standard press-on tattoos, though you’ll want to do a couple of test runs before the kids start lining up.

Creative Workflow and Process
App Integration: You start by selecting or creating an outline in the Phomemo app via Bluetooth. It’s great for custom names or simple logos.

Step-by-Step Assembly: The process is specific: print the thermal outline, color it in with the included markers, transfer that design to the tattoo film, and then apply it to the skin with a damp cloth.

Learning Curve: As other users have mentioned, the manual isn't great. It takes a minute to figure out which side is which and how the transfer layers interact, but it becomes second nature after the first three or four tries.

Build and Materials
Custom Paper Sizes: This unit does not take 8.5" x 11" sheets. It uses small, specialized thermal papers: 2 x 3 inches (40 pieces) and 3 x 5 inches (10 pieces).

Thermal Printing: Because it’s thermal, there are no ink cartridges to clog or replace, which makes it much cleaner for "on-the-go" event use.

The Refill Question
Refill Packs: You don't have to worry about running out forever. Phomemo sells a specific TK32 Refill Pack (usually around $23 CAD) that includes another 50 sets of tattoo/transfer papers and 8 fresh markers.

DIY Potential: In a pinch, you could likely cut down larger 8.5" x 11" thermal tattoo transfer paper to fit, but the pre-cut 2x3" and 3x5" sheets are much more convenient for the machine's small feed slot.

Final Verdict:
For $99.99, this is a "satisfactory" investment for families or event planners. It’s a fun, interactive toy that yields professional-looking results once you've conquered the instructions. Just make sure to keep a damp cloth and some patience on hand for the first few attempts!

- Well Phomemo just create another printer that I really like. And wish I had this when I was a kid. The temporary tattoo. There are 2 sizes for the tattoo. Print is only in black and white, and you can colour it on with the included colouring pens. Then apply it like other temporary tattoos. Great thing about this is that it works via app on the phone, and so it's very portable. Included with the printer is a full set of printing tattoo papers (50 in total for 2 sizes). You can also purchase additional refill pack. At time of review, it's available here on amazon as well for $26 for the same 50 pcs AND markers. Overall this is a really nice gift package for kids, although it will require adult help to print the tattoo.

🌟 Quality:
The printer itself is a compact technological marvel with a very small footprint, making it easy to store in a desk drawer or carry to a party. It feels solid and well-built, using ink-free thermal technology that keeps everything clean and mess-free. The package is generous, including 50 sheets of specialized paper in two sizes and eight markers. I was impressed by how crisp the black outlines are—small text remains readable and the lines are sharp. One design quirk to note: the included USB-C cable is extremely short, but since it’s a standard connection, I just swapped it for a longer one from my phone.

⚙️ Functionality:
Getting started was a breeze. I downloaded the Phomemo app and connected via Bluetooth in seconds. The workflow is satisfying: you print your design on "Paper A," color it in with the markers, apply the adhesive "Paper B" on top, and then transfer it to the skin with a damp cloth. It’s a bit technical at first—I accidentally put the paper in upside down once (the blank side must face UP)—but once you get the rhythm, it’s a hit.

The AI feature in the app is particularly cool; I uploaded photos of my pets, and it converted them into print-ready stencils beautifully. The tattoos last about 1–2 days. They do get a little sticky and pick up lint toward the end of their life, but they wash off easily with soap and water or a body scrubber when you're ready for a change.

💰 Price:
At $99.99, it is an investment, but for the customization it offers, I find it to be a great value. It really pays for itself if you use it for birthday parties, classroom events, or sporting festivities. It’s much more interactive than buying generic temporary tattoo sheets since you can create literally anything you can imagine.

🏆 Overall:
This is a high-quality, creative tool that kids and adults will absolutely love. It turns any gathering into a custom "tattoo parlor" experience. While a few app features like certain AI tools and extra fonts are behind a subscription, I found plenty of free graphics to use, or I just imported my own designs to bypass the cost. It’s safe, mess-free, and incredibly fun.

There's a learning curve like anything else in getting your own images edited correctly with the Phomemo AI. But a little persistence was all it took to end up with some temporary tattoos that I'm really enjoying! I paired this kit with some cheap-ish brush tip acrylic pens (40 colors, I think?) and I'm honestly pretty jazzed with the results. Tattoos with thick color last 2 days on my skin, but those with simpler color schemes last longer.

L'utilizzo è molto semplice e intuitivo.

This phone memo, temporary tattoo printer is really neat. It is a bit of an investment to get started, but will really pay for itself, and be great for the Littles over time, especially for holidays and parties.

Creating a tattoo involves thermal printing on the paper labelled A, then coloring, if desired, and finally attaching the paper sticker labelled B.

I was able to learn pretty quickly, how to do this, but I was surprised how challenging I found the instructions given that I have been using the Phomemo app for other applications for a long time.

The printer itself is quite tiny, and it is wireless. It comes with a USB charger. It feels very solid, works really smoothly and I would say the mechanics are good quality.

In terms of using the printer and the app, I ran into issues on my first try with the orientation of the paper. The printed side must be face down, and it seems to default to portrait orientation.

The Phomemo app has a lot of graphics, already loaded, and I already had the correct app from a different printer I use all the time so I didn’t even have to download a new one. And even recognized this tattoo printer immediately.

The temporary tattoos are exactly what you would expect, they are a thin membrane that goes onto the skin really easily when dampened. In terms of longevity, exactly what you would expect from a commercial temporary tattoo.

It’s really quite impressive to be able to make these at home, and the nice quality that they are. Super great for the little ones around here, but I could also see how these could be a really fun marketing tool as well.
